I am originally from Tappahannock. I have my undergraduate degree in Social Studies from Mary Washington College (now University of Mary Washington)and my masters degree in Administration and Supervision from VCU. I am the Social Studies Department Leader and a co-sponsor of the Senior Class. I have been at Essex High School since 1980. Before 1980 I taught several years with the Portsmouth City School System. I am married with a beautiful wife, 2 children and 4 wonderful grandchildren.
